Purpose and Ownership

Lynchburg Released Inmates is an independently owned reference. It is not part of the City of Lynchburg, the Lynchburg Sheriff, BRRJA, VADOC, a court, or any federal agency. The site stores no official jail, release, inmate, or court records. It cannot confirm custody, direct a release, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

Its pages point readers toward Lynchburg and Virginia inmate-record resources, official agency contacts, and third-party research tools. The originating agency controls its own files, search results, and access rules.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site lawfully and without harming another person, the service, or its systems. In particular, you must not:

• Use the site or its information to violate any law.
• Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or target another person.
• Make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable where the law permits.
